Let's face it, everything we do, outside of our art, has an element of art in it. It's how we see the world. Cooking, for me, is one of those things. An opportunity to relax and create. I don't think I would enjoy it as much if I didn't see it as an artistic endeavor. I don't always have the time to get too elaborate in the kitchen, so I've collected my go-to, quick recipes that carry me through my busy weeks. Performers and teaching artists are athletes, so what we eat, and when, is paramount to our success. Today I had a bit more time, so here's my latest creation: Cod over sautéed arugula, topped with mushrooms and vegan aioli. This dish may look expensive, but it cost all of $6 to make. #artistbudget #glutenfree #eggfree
